About

Cross Street Architects is a design-led architecture studio in Sale, Cheshire. Established in 2019, we are an RIBA chartered practice quickly gaining a strong profile in South Manchester, working across a range of projects from residential new-builds and refurbishments to extensions of varying sizes and budgets. 

I am Stephen Graham, the practice director. I am an architect with industry experience spanning over a decade, working in a variety of sectors in the UK and the Middle East. I worked as an Art Director in the media industry before studying Architecture at the University of Liverpool, where I graduated with First Class Honours (2009) and received the Charles Reilly Medal for my thesis Plan_b, Existential Spaces within the City. I retain my close connection with the University of Liverpool, where I consult as a tutor within the School of Architecture.

With Cross Street Architects, I have brought together my love of art and design with my technical expertise and experience to establish a local practice that provides personalised architectural services. At Cross Street, the client is always at the centre of the design process; I will work with you to guide you through the various options available for your specific project. My aspiration is to produce beautiful design solutions in every project, no matter the scale or the budget. My philosophy is that good design should always enhance everyday living, but never shy away from having a creative outlook.
